Uses

For erectile dysfunction.

Instructions

This medicine is for use in the penis. DO NOT take this medicine by mouth.

Keep this medicine in the refrigerator.

If needed, this medicine may be stored at room temperature for 14 days or less.

Keep the medicine in the foil pouch until you are ready to use it.

Wash your hands before and after using this medicine.

It is best to urinate right before using the medicine to make it easier to insert into the urethra.

Sit or stand upright for 10 minutes after taking the medicine. Do not lie down.

This medicine usually works within 5 to 10 minutes and produces an erection that lasts for about 30 to 60 minutes.

Throw away the medicine after use. Do not save to use again later.

Drug interactions can change how medicines work or increase risk for side effects. Tell your health care providers about all medicines taken. Include prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal medicines. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping any medicine.

Tell your doctor if symptoms do not get better or if they get worse.

Do not share this medicine with anyone who has not been prescribed this medicine.

Do not use the medicine more than twice during 24 hours.

Cautions

Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.

Do not use the medication any more than instructed.

Your ability to stay alert or to react quickly may be impaired by this medicine. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medicine will affect you.

Please check with your doctor before drinking alcohol while on this medicine.

Men with a pregnant partner should wear a condom during sexual activity while using this medicine.

This medicine does not protect you or your partner against sexually transmitted diseases.

Use condoms to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases.

If you have a painful erection or an erection for more than 4 hours, seek medical care right away.

Side Effects

The following is a list of some common side effects from this medicine. Please speak with your doctor about what you should do if you experience these or other side effects.

  • dizziness
  • rapid heartbeat
  • nausea
  • pain in the penis
  • bleeding or spotting from the penis

Call your doctor or get medical help right away if you notice any of these more serious side effects:

  • fainting

A few people may have an allergic reaction to this medicine. Symptoms can include difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek medical help quickly.
